Sarah Mangold is the author of the just released Giraffes of Devotion (Kore Press), Electrical Theories of Femininity (Black Radish Books) and Household Mechanics (New Issues Press), selected by C. D. Wright for the New Issues Poetry Prize. From 2002-2009 she edited Bird Dog, a print journal of innovative writing and art. She received her BA in English Literature from the University of Oklahoma and MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. Originally from Oklahoma, she now lives and works in Seattle.

Talena Lachelle Queen, a New Jersey native, earned her MFA in Creative Writing & Poetics from the University of Washinton-Bothell, where she authored Fourteen. She is passionate about history, African-American culture and social justice issues. She is often inspired by current events and is known to infuse music into her highly emotive poetry. She now lives and works Paterson, New Jersey, where she runs Her Best Self, a program of the National United Black Fund that fosters leadership qualities in young women.

Danielle Vogelis a cross-genre writer and artist who grew up on the south shore of Long Island. She is the author of Between Grammars, the artist book Narrative & Nest, and the chapbooks, In Resonance and lit. Her installations and “public ceremonies for language,” which investigate the archives of memory stored within language, have been exhibited most recently at RISD Museum, The Nordic House in Reykjavík, Iceland, Temple University, Pace University, and The University of Arizona Poetry Center. She teaches across genres at Wesleyan University.

Katherine “Kat” Seidemann is a Seattle poet, writer, and artist with an MFA from the University of Washington Bothell. In 2014, she founded aether inK, a literary curation project dedicated to multi-disciplinary exhibitions. Winner of the Marcia Barton Award for Poetry in 2008, Kat’s work has been published in the Licton Springs Review, Clamor and Rogue Agent. Her visual work has been shown at Shift Gallery and Gallery 1412 among others.
