Lennart Persson is an ikebana master and a priest of the church of Norway living in Oslo, Norway. He has been blogging about ikebana since 2008. He grew up in the north of Sweden surrounded by forests and mountains. As a child he was interested in growing plants and flowers and spent hours learning their names and peculiarities. Today this knowledge comes in handy when working with ikebana. Persson studied ikebana at the Sogetsu School in Tokyo and has exhibited his work at 0047 Gallery, Kunstnernes Hus Art Center, Historical Museum and City Hall Gallery, all in Oslo, Norway.
